While traveling abroad, it is possible to see many forms of transportation being used that one may not have seen or used before.

During your travels overseas, have you ever come across or traveled on a mode of transportation which is quite unusual?

Does a zip line count? It's a pretty different way to travel. ;)
I've also ridden on an elephant before as part of a trek (as well as a few other times in various places) and the peak tram in Hong Kong was another great experience.
I went on a bicycle transport to a convention in the USA. I thought it would be cheaper. $20.00 for a 1 minute ride...I learnt never to do that again!
Maybe hovercraft, or camel. Though both times I was just having a go for fun, not really actually trying to go anywhere.
I have gone on a rickshaw ride.
Probably a tractor ride on a farm when I was three.
A camel ride, jet ski and parasail.
Jet ski, parasailing, horse, donkey, horse and cart and driving one of those tiny cars.
A camel ride would probably be the most unusual. Apart from that, it was a novelty for me to ride in the back of a ute while I was abroad, in a country where it was legal not to use seatbelts or seats.
I've been on a horse carriage, a rickshaw, a glass-bottom boat, a donkey-cart when I was very young, a matatu in Kenya and a very crazy train ride in Pakistan.

Camel rides around the Saudi Arabian desert - not a common means of transport, except maybe during the festival times :) Absolute delight and an interesting experience without a doubt!
I got an opportunity to sit in the bullock cart during my short visit to a village in India. It was amazing...

Rode a camel to Dinner venue once. That was enough!
Travelled by tuk-tuk, horse carriage, horse, aircraft to a concert in another city, helicopter to stables to go riding, rubber boat on Rapids, tinnie through caves, chauffeur driven car to functions, 'Chinook' to Base Camp, & legs on many a scenic bushwalk!
