We all have things that looked great in the shop but when we got home it didn't look anywhere near as good. Often we have clothes that are hidden in our closets with the tags still attached or shoes that have never come out of their box.
What have you bought but never used? What purchases have you made that you wish you hadn't and why?
My regret purchases are ones that don't work as well as I expected them too. For example, a few months ago I ordered a skipping rope from Amazon that was meant to record the number of skips you do, and your energy burn, but it turned out to be useless because it is so light that the rope won't swing round properly.
My first apartment! It was a bargain, but we have had so much trouble with it. Such a big purchase always has the potential to go absolutely, disastrously wrong. But then again, can I regret it? There are so many happy memories there too...
So many things! Mostly clothes there are plenty of clothes that I have never worn some even still have the price tag on! I had a huge clean out of my wardrobe a couple of months ago and gave all those clothes and shoes I don't wear to charity. I feel so much better now and have more space in my wardrobe, it's a win, win.
A couple of high heels. It was for a clients 10th anniversary celebration party earlier this year. I only needed one pair for that night, and was then enticed to buy a second pair for only an extra $20. Yes, they're still unworn in my wardrobe.
My son's bedroom furniture!! :((( He never sleeps on it, it's too large and bulky, makes the room look dark and small. Basically it is just sitting there as a large piece of dust collector (and I tend to throw the undone laundry there)!
Great question! Mostly craft stuff I bought with good intentions and never really had time to use. Oh, and some shoes I bought online which were supposedly the right size but didn't fit (too narrow for my wide feet) and which I couldn't return.
How is it that they can be ok in the shop and then dreadful at home. I bought a pair recently that were great and yes I did walk around in them. When I actually wore them , i didn't even make it out of the house. One big toe lost all feeling. and they're not even tight. Weird but what a waste of money.
