Cake Pops. They're fine, but really they are just cake and icing and not worth the money that companies try to get you to pay for them. If you make them yourself they are fiddly and a whole world of hassle.
Have hated muffins from their inception. Rather chew on a stirrup-leather!
Next is current fad for Macarons. Geesh, where'd they come from? Overpriced little wads of nothing!
Can still buy MacaroOns....the coconut biscuit that's been around, at least, since the '50's & still enjoyable, especially with a hot cuppa!
I do like Cup Cakes & Butterfly Cream little Cakes.
But my favourite is the humble Lamington!
Dippin' Dots. That frozen ice cream stuff that you get at the show. It comes in little cups and it is tiny weeny little balls. You can never have it at home as it is made some weird space age way. Definitely over rated and over hyped.
Kale, quinoa, couscous, brown rice, andů..polenta. Macaroons. Omega3 Fish Oil - what happened to Hypol that had to be shoved down kids throats all those years ago.
So much reinvented stuff. Keep it for the gen x and y groups and leave me out of it.
Oh and pork belly like it is something that was invented fairly recently.
