We all want to do different things when going to the beach
It's a hot day, and you're in the mood to go to beach - whether alone or with others. What do you usually do at the beach? Are you the type that wants to go in the water right away? Or do you prefer to be physically activity while staying on dry land? Perhaps you prefer to lie back and soak in the sun? Not to mention the great ambience all round. How many people do you normally go with? Otherwise, are you happy to go to the beach alone - why?
I generally want to jump into the water straight away, but will admit that sometimes the weather can bring down the better part of my enthusiasm.
The beach is the best place for a natural and free exfoliant! So get those bare feet running around in the sand back and forwards. Don't forget to take photos of your disappearing foot trails if you wade into the wet sand.
If I lived closer I'd love to make a habit of going to the beach alone. Sometimes having your family around is an obstacle when you'd like to do some rockpool exploring.
I love surfing those waves, and spending a bit of time plodding along and swimming in the water. It is also great to play some beach volleyball, as well as to just chill out in the sand and sunbathe. It is also fun going to the beach and just walking on the footpath - with or without a dog. So much fun at the beach.
Believe it or not, I am not a big fan of swimming. I believe that when I enter the water I become part of the food chain. However, I am also not one to sit still. I am either taking photos of landscapes, waves, birds or my kids - or - I am walking around the beach looking at different things in the sand, on the rocks etc. If there was a volley ball net there I probably would play!
