If you are of a certain age, you will fondly remember the ad that stated "Jatz and cabanossi, so easy!" for the ultimate in party nibbles.

Nowadays the range of crackers is huge, and there are crisp breads and lavosh thrown into the mix. Some go better with cheese and some with dips. Some for savoury nibbles, and some just by themselves.

When preparing a cheese board, what do you prefer to put out?

I like lavosh, but only with soft cheese. For all kinds of cheese, I guess some sort of seeded cracker. I still like jatz too!
My mum really likes high baked water biscuits. I find them pretty tasteless and chewy, but those are the kind we tend to buy.

I prefer Jacob's lightly salted crackers, Ritz crackers, or thick wholemeal biscuits.
Arnots Jatz/Savoy Cracked Pepper crackers are delicious.
Wafer biscuits definitely. The flavour of the cheese is so intense in those.
The wafer thin ones -Captains, is it?
