No, I was never any good at athletics as a teenager or any time in my life.

I just could not run fast enough!
And furthermore, I did not enjoy this sport - then again, didnt really enjoy ANY sport!

No, I was not near to making the Olympics!

No, running has never been my thing; I don't have the stamina for it.
I don't even have the INTEREST for it,let alone the stamina!!!!!!
by Jules
Pah! Interest and running in the same sentence . . ? Computer says NO.
by Rice
Hmmmm......MY computer says the same thing!!!!
by Jules
Same; I like various forms of exercise, but running is definitely not one of them.
No. I have never been good at athletics.
As a child, & teenager, but there were many, many Sports I much preferred to just running.
Pretty much..
Well, now that I picked myself up off the floor from laughing so hard,I can say a great, big, loud and honest NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
Even the thought of combining anything slightly athletic in the same sentence as my own name is so hilarious that I start to laugh!!! I was,and have always been HOPELESS in the extreme, where sport, and athletics are concerned!!!!! Even WATCHING these activities is too much for me as a rule!!!
Well, you must be doubly bruised from that double answering and falling about!! Bahahahahahahahahahahaha!
by Rice
Oh Yes!!! very bruised!!!!! I don't know why the computer does this, but Finy knows how to delete the spares, thank goodness!!!! Hee Hee Hee!!!!

Wouldn't say I was.
No. The only time I ran was when I decided to get fit as a teen and would jof each day for half an hour. I was shocked to do well in the school cross country and wished I had tried a little harder.
I am totally incoordinated and it is likely I will fall over my own feet if I run. I have the grace of a drenched sea gull.
Oh, that's wonderful . ! A drenched sea gull. LOL (Our cross countries were so wild that health and safety would never allow it now. One boy was made a pararaplegic at my school.)

Oh no! That is terrible.

No. And I'm still not! I'm a regular gym-goer, but I never run or jog - can't stand it.
I once won a three-kilometre race. Once. I did some running to get me through the HSC and a bad relationship too, actually...I suppose I always liked running and the thought of it...a solitary activity. But I wouldn't say I was "good" at it by no means.
