I saw it when it first came out.

LOVED it!

I would think very few people have not seen it, and really a good movie to watch again and again over a few years.

Great storyline too.
:D This is my favourite scene.

Kill me - kill me now!! I could think of nothing worse. I'd rather LISTEN to paint dry! But then I hate all musicals...
Wahahahahahahahahahahahaha! That's telling 'em.

Oh! Poppy, how could you 'hate' all musicals?
Some of THE most beautiful Songs we have, came from them!
by donjo
Just can't stand it when mid-way through a sentence they burst into song.
by poppy
No and no. (but I know all the songs!) Bahahaha.

I have never watched it.
How sad! A very uplifting movie, with beautiful scenery, good acting, & oh! the music is a joy!

Good story too.

Seen it many times. One of my favourite movies.
I have seen the movie and I love it. The storyline is great, and the fact that it is true makes it all the more enjoyable. My heart jumps for joy when he chooses Maria instead of the Baroness for his new wife. I have seen it a couple of times live on stage. I went to a Sing-a-long screening of it as well recently. They had a fashion show to dress up as something from the movie. It was a lot of fun.
That sounds like a lot of fun. I'm actually going to see it on stage for the first time in January of next year. :)

Yes. I am seeing it live on stage in May as well. Should be fun !!!

Bits and pieces of the movie. Its not my taste.
Saw it when it first came out.
Watch it every time it is on TV and still enjoy it

Yes and No.
Yes I watched it but please, no more repeats. Once is enough!
I saw the Sound of Music for the first time when it was released in the picture theatres. From memory I wasn't all that old but I remember the beautiful scenery and marvellous songs throughout the film.
Now that sounds like a great memory to treasure!

Although I haven't watched it for years, I really love it. It's a classic, old-fashioned feel-good movie that's perfect for people of all ages.
Totally! I agree with everything you've just said. ;-)

Yes I've seen it. I watched it as a child for the first time and really enjoyed it. I haven't seen it in years, but imagine I would still enjoy it!
I have seen the movie which is refreshing and to some extent historical and seen Austria. The country would take your breath away with the beauty and the history. Any one who lives in Austria is lucky. !
it goes for a long time.
I dont't mind The Sounds of Music, but they just keep replaying it over and over, and now I'm kinda over it.

Hahaha! I can understand as my son went through a phase last year which had him watching the film every day for about two months - every day! But I still love it.
