People are now as of last week moved in and yes!! working once again in the Building.
I totally agree with 'Banksy'' it really is a non-plus as far as representing, what was there!
It is non-impressive to me, and makes me feel like the design has a tail between it's legs.
It doesn't say ''Listen I'M BACK Bigger and Better''...That's very surprising, given that American bravado is all about that.
That's what makes America who she is.

I also felt sad to just see the one building, and it did take 13 long long years to build. They say that the builders went above and beyond to make it safe.

I think the reason 'why' it has taken me by surprise is that I totally expected, something outstanding, and this is one very 'shy' skyscraper, I totally have to agree.Over the years of it being built I did follow from time to time, and always keeping in mind that The Americans will do bigger, and better.

The cost to build it was 3.9 Billion $ (yep! Billion).
I don't know if I could work in the building. Not after what happened.

I think the building for me to work in is o.k.
It's the very ground it stands on, I just feel too many lost Souls.
I was also unhappy they didn't move to another site to build again.......and just have a park there.

Now that sounds like a great idea to me.

It's not bad looking. Actually, I had no idea this was being built. Hi, my name is Vee and I live under a rock.

I gave out one big laugh on reading your response...lol.
your a funny girl :)

I wasn't trying to be funny, lol. I really do live under a rock. Interesting that this hasn't been on the news.

I have also not heard of it but cannot bear to hear more about this awful event.
I have a friend in New York and her daughter lived near there and saw people jumping.

They moved to the opposite side of America as she could no longer cope with living there, so it is not only those who lost people.

But back to the building -I can say same as Vee -Hi, my name is Finy and I live under a rock!

I had to laugh at you too Finy, ''live under a rock'' Ha!

I think regardless of design it is important to commemorate those lives that were lost in such horrific circumstances.
I know

I think the building itself is lovely. It also looks quite modern.
