I people who have lots of money start to take it for granted, so I think power is the larger motivator. I think people become addicted to power.
Definitely power. There is just something about having power makes people do anything to keep it. Just check the lives of some people in authority such as politicians and you will see the dreadful things they have done to keep the power they have.

Need for Power.

It has no limits, and it will run over anyone who seems to be in the way.
It also knows money will be part of the journey, but it is not about just the money.
The need for power in any person,is dangerous. But what is more a concern is ....it is achievable,by relentless effort and deliberate actions.
Makes no difference too who is in the way, these people have a significant amount of will power and drive. They will get what they want, to no end.

Money and power go hand in hand in most instances. Your odds of finding true power without money are slim, and the odds that you'll be powerful and poor are . well I can't think of any truly powerful world figure who isn't wealthy.
In my opinion money = power. The more money you have the more power you have.
Money and power go hand in hand. People with money usually have power while people with power usually have money.
However as a motive power is a dangerous motive. People will go to great lengths to attain it, keep it and eliminate those who wish to strip it.
