NO! We donít have a car-port/garage, so under the house is open, & very messy. Our 2 spare rooms are also very messy! A lot of my mess is articles from newspapers i think Iím going to read 1 day, & things to make my collage cards with, & articles about the suburb we live in, that Iím going to stick into scrap books..1 day, & a huge pile of 40/50 handbags that I canít make my self send to the op-shop. And lots of books that should also go to the op-shop, as well as many recipes books, as I now get most of my recipes online.
My garage is not what I would term tidy, but then,I have all manner of 'Stuff' which I use to help others with little projects they may have on the go! My friends and neighbours all love being able to say,'Let's go and see if Jules has got such and such, rather than go and spend money on more junk!!!' I used to be a sigh writer and also have done many wonderfully rewarding crafty things,so I do tend to have lots of Treasures which are just perfect for school projects, and all manner of other exciting things when the boys from next door are in need! I love being able to share these things and show the kids how to get the most out of what many call 'Junk'!!! My mess is a form of sanctuary in some ways for me.And my spare room and Garage seem like Aladdin's Cave to those who do not have such rooms! Great fun!!
Thanks Rice! Any other husband of mine would have left me years ago, but this 1 & only, We've been married for 48 years & 3 months..,to-day! I'm hoping we'll be going on back to back European river cruises, for our 50th Anniversary. I'd better start getting stuck into OUR mess!! My husband has actually started cleaning up the house, but it think it would be quicker if I tried to help him! We have to get more of our daughters stuff down to Melbourne, that they insisted on leaving in the house when they moved out, but our Melbourne trips usually involve talking toys & books down for our little granddaughters. At our age, we can't be lugging really heavy suitcases anymore. It's just too tiring!
