Yes. It is part of the dna which could result from the family tree.
Neither myself nor my wife has dimples. My youngest son however was born with only a left cheek dimple. Probably if we have another child, he/she could be born with both.
I think many babies naturally have dimples.
I will be totally honest, I think a Doctor is about the only person who can can a correct answer on this, or one the like.

I think this is possible. It depends on the genetic makeup on the child that has been inherited from generations. Parents may not have dimples but this does not mean its not in the child's genes to have them.
I really do not know this, however would imagine it is possible as it could go back several generations or even more and then come out -i.e. it is a gene or some such.
Actually I know someone who has one and neither parents have them, so it is definitely possible.
Surely anything is possible, the gene pool is pretty big.
My grandchild has inherited my cheek dimples.
