I have done it, and you take it slow.
If you have family, that is a bonus.I had absolutely no one.My family were in another State.
I found great comfort in joining a church...and they became my family.Still are.
My son has ADHD & ODD so life was at times, quite hard.
You have to just take it day by day, and at times you will cry....but there is a great deal to enjoy & love too.
Friends are important, and also other mum's,with a child at around the same age.
Questions from kids, are easy.....because you have a Mothers Heart :) so you just use care and that wisdom mothers seem to have.Never rush an answer.
Think it over, and you will be fine.
Mothers are amazing people, and they manage well...but a little help from others, can be a blessing when you may feel tired or down.I found mine, and it is not impossible to resource. That is a big key.
It can get lonely, but is well worth the effort...that little person makes in your life.Children keep us busy, and we don't have too much time to look back.
21 years on, I see that I did fine...and my son tells me I am his rock! that's all
I need to know. There is a Happy Ending and you will find yours! :)
Being a parent is tough when there is two of you looking after a child/children. When there is only one, it is even harder. Women who successfully raise their kids alone are really made of stern stuff, and have to make a lot of sacrifices.
I don't know how they do it. Being a mum with a partner is tough enough. Kids are demanding, so when there's only one of you it would be really hard. Also, dealing with the expenses alone would be terrible. Hats off to all the single mums who are doing an awesome job raising children on their own.
Well! it's tough when these single mothers make babies for the money only. Well! if they want to cry now then as they say 'tough titties' Just why did't they think of this before they started having unprotected sex.
But for a lady who due to circumstances suddenly becomes a 'single mum' is not always easy. they have to juggle between ja job,Kinder garten & so on
