I always marvel at restaurant kitchens, how so many chefs can all work together without ending up strangling each other.... at home if one of us is cooking, then it's usually best for the other to leave them to it!
If too many people participate in a task, they spoil everything.
It I believe was not meant for the cooking world, just a saying about people.
Say I was was to build a home, then a family member came along and wanted to change it a tad, then another and another...It would loose it's original design.In allowing too many people to have an input, it gets spoilt.
Becomes off balance, out of whack.
