I would average once or twice a week.
I work 3 afternoons so love to be home to do nothing most of the other days -am a Cancerian -a home body.
Oh! Finy, ditto! I do enjoy having a cappuccino, & either a savoury or sweet item with it, dependent on my mood!
Do 'ladies who lunch' a few times a month, & that is VERY relaxing, to me! Cheers!
I do this very rarely indeed. I actually only like to go somewhere, and then with a good friend whose company I can really enjoy, if the food is something I do not bother to make at home! My neighbour and I will sometimes go to the Tea Rooms up in the Hills near here,by which I mean Townsville. It is always delightfully cooler than here at home, and the owners make the most scumptious food. The real bonus for me is the specialty Tea selection which they have there! We always sit out under the enormous shade trees where we are surrounded by native birds and butterflies. It really does seem like a little slice of Heaven here on Earth!!
I am envious -bet they make a great scones jam and cream?
Oh Yes!!! But I had the Apple Pie last time I went.It is the deepest ,most delectable apple Pie I have had since my mother was alive!!! Instead of pastry on the top there is about 3/4 of an inch of beautiful freshly whipped cream!! Oh My Gosh!!! I really look forward to another visit soon, after writing this!!!
This café in the pic look good Finy...do we know where it is!?
Going for lunch is part of my lifestyle, would do it a couple of times a week at least.
no, sorry dont know where it is but i dont think australia...
By the name, France somewhere! Can't read blackboard writing, which would be a nice Menu, probably! Bon Appetit!
It's a 4.5 star restaurant in Poitiers, Vienne, France. Sorry to say I haven't eaten there though.
Oh! helga, maybe we could 'pop over' together, & do lunch! Lol!
A friend & I go out for breakfast, to the same place, on our morning walk, around where we live, shouting each other for our birthdays & for our grand-daughters birthdays, then in Dec for Christmas. I also go out with 2 other friends for lunch 6 times a year, & we have always have our Christmas lunch at The Star buffet. I now find, as I've got older, I can't eat nearly as much as I used too, at that buffet!!!! We also have lunch 4 times a year with my mother & 1 of my sisters, close to where my husband & I live. And twice a year I go to afternoon coffee with another friend, for our birthdays & for Christmas.
