I would spend more time in the shower in winter as the hot hot water feels so good on my cold body!
In summer even though I have an almost cold shower, I would only stay in it long enough to wash myself which is about five minutes.
In winter I would think it is about 10 minutes and more if I am washing my hair.
I have no idea how long I spend in the shower, as I have never timed myself. I just stay in long enough to wash my body and my hair, so, as long as it takes. This does not vary from season to season. I just do what needs to be done and get out.
Maybe 5 minutes, whether it is summer or winter. Our winters are not cold as a rule where I live so I don't use the shower to warm myself. However long it takes me to wash ,is how long I stay in the shower!
I used to really enjoy a relaxing soak in my very long bath,as it is so good for me poly-arthritis.I would soak for at LEAST 10 minutes,or even longer. However,I am too wary to lie in a bath any more, ever since I started having blackouts.I am scared I may have one while In the bath, which would be rather scary and dangerous as I live alone! Last year I had every known test to try and work out the cause of these blackouts, but it remains a mystery. The specialists have all told me to simply be SENSIBLE and avoid doing things where I could end up in a dangerous situation. Hence,no more gorgeous baths!!
I use a shower timer to save water as we are on tank water. I probably have longer showers in Winter as I have to force myself to jump out when the job is done. I probably have more frequent showers in Summer as I usually shower twice a day and will pop in for a quick shower to cool down-water supply permitting.
