I love sleeping! Unlike what most people might think, it is not out of laziness but rather, a peaceful escape from every day's hustle and bustle and with 3 kids at home, I really need 7-8 hours of sleep to function at my best the next day.
Sleep is vital for good health........... mental state.
8 hours should be taken as gospel!....There are reasons 'why' any less, is just
crazy.We can live without a lot of food, but sleep and water are the 2 main
ingredients for well being.
I had for a little while been unable to sleep, now I'm back on track and can 'feel' my body recovering.
Anyone who has less than the required 8 hours, is setting themselves up....for a crash,down the line.Our bodies absolutely 'need' it, and our brains crave it.
Usually it is 8 hours. When I am eating a perfect diet filled with lots of organic veggies, I have been able to cut it down to 6 hours of perfect functioning. The diet isn't as easy to keep up as I would like so I slip back into needing more sleep.
