The best way to get properly diagnosed is to see a gastro specialist. My GP strongly suspected I was lactose intolerant when I told him about my symptoms (bloating, gas, stomach cramps etc). I had a colonoscopy done which found a couple of other gastric problems that could be managed with a change to my diet. Every now and again I'll veer off it, but I pay in the end!! I switched to soy milk in my coffee and have Zymil milk on my cereal which is really nice. Mandy E.
I used to get a running nose, bad Sinuses and very itchy skin. These symptoms were never picked up by my Dr as a food intolerance. I had to go and get the tests done myself.
I have never much enjoyed drinking milk even as a child, I found it very mucilaginous and snotty to drink, possibly my body telling me something.
Half the world is lactose intolerant
Even adult cows can not drink milk!
