Yes, I have used one at my voluntary job and I recently bought one.
They are fabulous - cannot recommend them highly enough. For that quick "go over" or when you have dirt in a few areas, they are brilliant. No fuss, no cords, just turn it on and away you go!
And then just put them back on their dock and they re charge.
GREAT INVENTION and easier on the back than sweeping.

Great Question! got me thinking that I haven't ....and....!!! need too.
I'm not getting any younger, and it would be wonderful to just have something this user friendly, plus I think you can buy them under $150. Thanks Finy, I'm loving this Idea :)
they are on sale here for about $80 at the moment

Gee that's a great price! :)

I had one growing up but not at the moment.
I have never used one and just yesterday my daughter told me a friend of hers had bought one and was totally rapt with it .. . . even for dog hair!

yes it does pick up dog hair Rice but as with everything, some are better than others.

I just remembered that I was told that Bissell was the brand and the lady has a very hair dropping Retriever and she has said she will never have anything else as it is the best thing she has ever used for dog hair.

No, I have always thought they wouldn't have as much power as ordinary ones. Truth be told, I'm a fan of the backpack variety.

I recently bought a Dyson. It only runs for 20 minutes. I thought it would only be good for quick cleanups, but if I use it 20 minutes a few days in. row my house is done and I can follow up with just vacuuming the main traffic areas.
It has extremely good suction. It was expensive but the quality is very good. My friend who is a very fussy housekeeper, bought one as she was downsizing. She said she felt ashamed at the amount her Dyson picked up from her clean floor. That sold me on one.
Yes I have a Dyson it is fabulous.
Oh yes !!! I think they are the best thing since sliced bread. They are so lightweight and manoeuvrable. They only last for 20 minutes, but its amazing how much you can get done in that time. The rest of the week, we use it for a quick 'go over' each day and it takes next to no time ! I would recommend anyone who hasn't got one to get out there and get one. It's better than dragging around the heavy old ones. I got one for my mother recently. We have a Bosch. My husband, Mum and I all have back pain, but we don't spend all day vacuuming with this cleaner and no bending. Perfect if you are someone of limited mobility or disabled, I would think.

Have just bought one for quick jobs as I get tired of dragging out the old ducted vacuum hose system, however the "stick" is still in the box.
I have used one at a friend's place, and shall probably end up getting one,but definitely of the better brands rather than going for price!!
No I have never used one, but next time we need to buy a vacuum cleaner I will look into it.
