Yes I have - when I have been sick or have been awake for hours, I will occasionally take a pill.
I believe they are helpful as long as you do not take them always,.
Currently I have a medical condition and am on steroids and drs have given me sleeping pills as it is important that I sleep. Steroids stop you sleeping!
40 years ago....but do not think I would again, unless my sleep pattern is very bad. As it is now, I can fall asleep at the drop of a hat! LOL.
I didn't like the feeling as I woke up, maybe they are different these days.
Don't think on the meds I am taking.....I would risk it.
I have taken sleeping tablets a couple of times whilst in hospital. On the whole, I sleep very well, so don't need to take them on a regular basis. I used to suffer from insomnia, but since going overseas last year, my body clock seems to have reset itself, and I have no trouble sleeping.
No, never. I am lucky enough to sleep like the dead. You could stampede elephants through the house & I wouldn't wake up! And even if I ever did have trouble sleeping, I don't think I would take tablets. There are other methods I would try first (I dislike 'man-made' pharmaceutical drugs - give me natural every time).
