Eiffel Tower

The Eiffel Tower is one of the most photographed structures in the world.

What is the best angle to photgraph it at?

Straight on, side on, at an angle, upside down, which way would you take a photo of the Eiffel Tower?

You mean have I ever been to

Paris!

One of my long long time dreams, one day maybe.
I've taken a photo from the top of it, but not of the tower itself. It's hard to get a good vantage point that way. An angled shot like that seems like a good plan.
I think the angle at which jonaj's shot is taken looks cool. I have never been, but would like to one day.

Thanks Vee that is the way I would take my pic, if I ever get there.
One place I would head for after is a cake shop too!

I've not been to France at this point, one day I hope to change this however.

Yes I tried however they did not work out real well as we were way too close -I didnt try it at any angle but just a straight shot in front and upstairs from it etc.

I haven't been to France but if I did I'd like to photograph it close and from below to really capture the height.
When I visit Paris I certainly will.

As haven't been to Paris & don't ever want to go there, that would be NO!
I first visited Paris, France in '68, & decided it was my most favourite place in the world. I've been to Paris 4 other times since then, & have visited many other countries as well, & I still think Paris is my most favourite place in the world, that I've ever been too. I haven't been there since '02. I've collected every picture of the E.T. I find. On TV once I saw a story of a young woman who married herself to the E.T.

I've been to Paris 5 times, but I've forgotten how I photographed the E.T. but probably just the common straight on way! If I went over there now, I'd probably be more artistic with my photography!
