For those of us who watch The Bold and The Beautiful - if there is anything Rick Forrester has taught us it is that setting ridiculous standards for others to live up to is unrealistic and always backfires.

Have you ever idolised someone or put someone on a pedestal?

When younger I did have a HUGE Crush on one man.
When I found out he was seeing other women.

It took little time to wake up....And Grow up.

Never happened again, thank goodness.I kept walking, and never went back.I do think of him from time to time...he was a very different kind of man, and just a pity he was well liked, by other women too much!
Thanks for sharing, jonaj. Growing up can be painful for the little person inside us.

LOL - He is a character on The Bold and the Beautiful. He is a total moron and has such high expectations of everyone that he is bound to be disappointed. :)

Yes.
An Actor.
Very high moral values, which is rare in this day & age.
Met he, & his wife several times over many decades.
He was just the 'most'!
I guess itís an odd person to have idolised, but it was Bette Davis! My husband took me to see her for my birthday, when she came to Sydney to do a Q & A stage show!
Interesting.
