As an adult, no. I find faces that are covered, whether by a mask or face paint, highly disturbing and I would never have mine painted. I am hoping to avoid having my son's face painted also.
As a child I had face paint when I was in a school play and it caused an enormous allergic reaction for me, which could be part of my aversion to the whole idea.
No. I was never allowed to have my face painted as a child. To get even with my parents, I let my sisters have their faces painted whenever the opportunity presents itself. I figure it would be a bit silly to have my face painted as an adult, so I just go with henna tattoos.
