I haven't had any goat since I was young.
A friend of mine spent a lot of time in Africa and ate a lot of goat there, she said it was fantastic. It is harder to come by in Australia but I have a butcher who is willing to order some in so one day soon I might get a goat shoulder and slow cook it.
Yes. I had a "Bob Marley Jamaican Goat Curry" (I can hear dwatk laughing from here.) once at a restaurant. It was very tasty. Apparently a lot of places use goat meat in curries and in spare ribs. I have not (to my knowledge) had it again and probably would not choose it as I get less and less carnivorous every day.
I have never eaten goat meat but I have tried gosts milk cheese, used goats milk soap and worn a mohair jumper. Eating the meat would round out the experience although I admit the idea of it isn't appealing which is a little strange since I have no problem eating lamb.
