I haven't had any goat since I was young.
A friend of mine spent a lot of time in Africa and ate a lot of goat there, she said it was fantastic. It is harder to come by in Australia but I have a butcher who is willing to order some in so one day soon I might get a goat shoulder and slow cook it.
My sister in NZ has it from time to time and is quite happy to cook and eat it.
No, I've never eaten it, I suppose because I've never seen it sold in a shop, nor have I noticed a recipe for it, but I'd try it as a restaurant meal!
