Yes, when I was around nine years old, we had gone bush walking near our home, we stopped to play in a natural sandpit, a favourite spot for my two brothers and I. A butterfly landed on my nose.Honest, no fibbing, Iit sat there for what felt like ages. A very strong and precious memory brought back. Thanks for reminding me.
We took the kids to the butterfly sanctuary and there were so many butterflies. Several landed on my partner and the kids, but not a single one on me. I was a bit sad. Although I have had butterflies land on me before and it was awesome.
Yes! Lots of times - there is a butterfly farm near where I grew up and we used to go there a lot. The butterflies were very used to people and would land on them all the time. I also visited a butterfly farm in Malaysia once where the butterflies were ENORMOUS, some of them bigger than my hand, but none of those landed on me. They liked my mum though and she was covered in them for the whole visit!
