Yes I have - the last few times I went around the world.
I would not go ordinary anymore as I hate long flights - I have not been on holidays for over 3 years now as do not want to leave my dogs and also have a problem lifting luggage.
I also do not like the hassle of an airport even though business class makes it so much easier and everywhere you go there is a lovely lounge before you board.
I still have enough "f/flyer points" to go round the world at least once! (means I spend a lot!)
No I never have, and to be honest....I just can not see it ever happening....unless I come into a fair bit of money.
Yes it looks very nice, and the difference is huge, but that cost! is way over my budget.
No. I have never flown first class, and I can't see myself ever doing it, unless we come into a lot of money. My husband considers it extravagant, and a waste of money. Whilst it might be nice, and more comfortable, I think I would rather use that money to spend a few more days at my holiday destination enjoying myself.
No, I have nevcer flown this way, though I ever I have a need to fly again, I would have to go this way, due to my health issues!! Once, when I severly broke my arm, and wrist and had to have it mended under anaesthetic in Alice Springs, when I flew home to Nth Qld, the staff kindly organised for me to have a full 3-seat row of seats to myself which they somehow formed into a bed for me! They also gave what can only be described as First Class care the entire trip, supplying me with pillows to support the arm which was plastered from fingertips to abve the elbow, making certain that I was comfortable,as well as offering me food and drink at every opportunity they felt I may like to have anyrhing. They also helped me both on and off the aircraft, carrying all of my luggage and simply giving the word 'service' a whole other meaning!!! All of this was happily done for me despte only being an economy passenger. I do know how extremely fortunate I was on that occasion, and it has left wonderful memories of air travel for me.
No never have and never will. Not in our budget and I am not sure if I could justify the difference in price. I have a brother in law who will only fly business class. However my sister refuse to and goes cattle class but pockets the differrence and spends it on herself.
We have many times, because my other 1/2 is retired airline staff. Now though, as we fly back & forth to Melbourne, the fare for staff is $30 + airport changes, in both cattle & business, so all the staff with a higher 'ranking' than he has, get 1st choice of business class, so our days are now very limited in B-class!! But it was fun, while it lasted (For some 45 years!)
