Sometimes I feel a bit lonely because no one understands me, but since I like being on my own, I don't generally feel isolated.
I do occasionally, however have my dogs and I enjoy being alone and doing what I want, when I want.

I feel it (nearly every single day).
Well that would take a long time to explain, but......... it is ''what'' one does with it.

''Focus'' on something else.

I can get back on track...fairly soon, and keeping busy is one tool I have used for years now.
Also I love the part where ''we are not the first to have this happen.

It is what it is.....so be kind to yourself, keep busy and if you believe...pray for peace to come....That has also been one of my most winning tools.
Never. I have my dogs, my Kindle, I can drive, I have my trusty computer, I do crosswords. I also have 'the other half" but he works a lot and can be away for days at a time. I have always enjoyed my own company so have never had "isolated" in my vocabulary. In fact, I am more likely to wish people would leave me alone :-)

No. Never. I have a wonderful family and very supportive friends who are there when I need them. They would never let me become isolated. Loneliness is different to isolation. I like the company of others, but I sometime like my own company as well. It is important to be aware of signs that could indicate that one is becoming isolated. Isolation can be a feature of depression and some other mental illnesses, that is why it is so important to know how to prevent going down this track. Once you are isolated it is hard to return to healthy relationships and interactions with others without help. Prevention is the best thing, to maintain good mental health, and prevent a downward spiral into isolation.
Yes. Usually in a crowded room at events & functions. I don't bother going out anymore.
