I have experienced minor turbulence, but not the major once.
Yes, and I don't fly well to begin with. I've flown through a couple of storms flying from Moncton, New Brunswick and Hamilton, Ontario.
I have had lots of turbulence during flying. We used to fly regularly from Emerald to Brisbane on a small Dash 8 plane it was always insanely bumpy. Never prayed so much in my life. It scares the crap out of me.
Turbulence is bad enough. While I think I have experienced major turbulence it was probably actually just minor.
Yes, while traveling from Adelaide-Sydney and then from Sydney-Dubai - it wasn't too big a deal, but still kept us all on edge for the first half of the journey.
Yes, flying from Bali to Lombok in a small Air Mirparti plane. I started praying!
Thankfully, no. I think I would defecate in my pants in such a situation. I am afraid of heights and flying. Needless to say, major turbulence would be a total nightmare.

I experienced a major one during my recent flight from Singapore. Very very sscary.
Many times, but it doesn't worry me, as usually on a QANTAS Boeing aircraft, with THE best pilots' in cockpit.

Spent about 90 minutes lurching up & down over Southern Ocean, on my way back from Antarctica, early last year!

Flying from Manila to Sydney, Boeing 707 days, remember severe turbulence some of the way, but I fell asleep once over Australia, I was told by Hostess, after landing!
I've been a frequent overseas flier for many years,so therefore have experienced various degrees of turbulence on flights. It can get a bit hairy when the turbulence is severe though.
