well, obviously I have as I used to breed llamas for their wool and their temperament!

They are delightful animals, gentle and quirky, each with a different personality.

I cried buckets when we sold this one as we could not keep them all and she was particularly quirky.

Are they expensive, Finy?

Yes! They are just adorable with the most incredible eyes which are like deep pools of love!!! My ex had some several years back, and I must admit,I wished he had decided to get them while we were still together! Gorgeous creatures, they really truly are just gorgeous!
No. I have never really considered using this animal as a pet or therapeutic animal. At a farm or zoo at a distance is ok.

Yes, I patted an alpaca just the other day at the Ipswich Show. They're lovely.
No not really close, I believe they are beautiful animals (inside and out)

I haven't - not yet! There's a friend of a friend in my knitting circles who has just started an alpaca farm, she breeds the animals, washes, cards, spins and dyes the wool herself! It's lovely and I'm hoping to visit her farm soon to meet the animals as I've heard they are lovely too.
THERE YOU ARE!! Looking good girl.

They look so sweet, I have not had the pleasure...maybe one day I will.

That sounds amazing for hospital visits, if it works why not...Animals give so much love.
Both. Prefer alpaca.
I've a large white/grey/black Alpaca Cape brought from Chile for me.
Talk about warm! Feel like a piece of Vegemite toast in it! Lol!
No, unfortunately I haven't had the experience of meeting them in their natural environments. Or had the privilege of working with them.
No, but I want to! I want to cuddle one.

Yes they are both beautiful animals in looks and temperament if well trained.

No I;ve never been up close to a Liama, or an Alpaca. I,ve always wondered what it would be like to have an alpaca as a pet, they look so gorgeous, but I've been told they have known to spit, and I would need someone to sheer them.
