There has been an Apple shop here in Townsville as far back as computers became more mainstream and part of most households, even before the internet did so! I would often visit the original one as my first really fun computer was an Apple! My goodness! how these stores have changed over the years with the introduction of all their incredible products!
Not yet. Even though there are Apple stores in Edmonton and Calgary - the two closest major cities to me - I have always gone to West World which is an Apple retailer located in both cities. I'll hit an Apple store at one point, just to check it out.
Several, in several different cities and countries.... at a guess Brussels (Belgium), Frankfurt (Germany), Newcastle (Britain) and maybe one in France when on holiday there. Oh and possibly another one in England somewhere.... the shops are everywhere :)
Yes. The 1 in George St, Sydney CBD NSW, where we bought 2 laptops from, are are about to buy the lovely new little gold coloured 1, & we go there for 1 on 1 sessions to find out about stuff I canít do on my laptop. We also stepped into the Bondi Junction 1, for 3 minutes once. The only other 1 we have ventured into is the 1 in NYC on 5th Ave. Beautiful. The whole shop is glass. When you walk down the glass stairs, you can see the people going down from the main rd, in the glass lift!
And now we've also been to the new one in Miranda Fair, NSW, a few times, as it's the 1 closest to where we live, & we'd asked for Apple to put 1 there while the renovations were going on, & they have, so that's where we go now!
(The 1st 'are, is supposed to be 'and'.) We didn't buy the smaller gold 1, because I'm now going to buy the pink 1, of the same size. My husband will then have my bigger 2 year old one, after we've transferred all my stuff over to my new 1, sometime...!
I bought my husband and iPad the Christmas before last and went to the Apple Store at Fountain Gate (outer south east Melbourne). I was impressed with how efficiently they handled the customers requests but I think branding them all as genius is a bit of Apple arrogance.
