I have had this ghastly experience just once, which was all the horror I needed to never do it again!! I was in my teens, and it was at the end of my final schooling year.I was doing an art course and we all went out for lunch.I really do not know why anyone would do this more than once. They cannot possible enjoy being so ill!!!
Drunk is for people who have no self control. Which we all have at some point in life so I have been drunk an learnt a hard lesson proud to say I can now enjoy alcohol with a meal with friends and family
Yep, not a pretty experience, especially the hangover. Although, I have had some fantastic nights out with friends, but it depends on who you're out with - they are a major factor in determining your night to go successfully or horribly!
Yes, at an enjoyable social level many many times but paraletic drunk maybe only a few times. Can't handle the stuff these days though with huge hangovers to keep me honest.
I think some people's physical make up can handle alcohol better than others so it pays to take it easy and know the signs if it starts to get the better of you. I think the day that Australia's social norms moved beyond beer drinking to enjoyment of fine wines was a very good day.
ONCE only. I was 19, & attending a 21st of a friends of my husband to be, in the families back yard. I took up a beer drinking challenge. He won by 5 seconds. i was sent to the my husband to beís car, to Ďsleepí it off. Some the mothers were looking out the kitchen window, feeling sorry for me, I found out later. After 1/2hr I was allowed to rejoin the party. I havenít had a beer since, & Iím in my late 60ís now!! I will have a tiny sip of my husbands beer, if heís drinking 1. I only drink a small G&T with my dinner at home, or 1 red wine in a restaurant.
