Oh yes ! My girl friends and I took a trip here a few years back and was perfect. The most enjoyable trip ever where we spoke so much about love, men, make up and losing weight while eating chocolate cakes and yummy food.:)
Yes, quite regularly. I find it a bit commercialised for my tastes, though....especially around Surfer's Paradise, with all those high rise buildings. The central and southern parts are still really beautiful, and retain the laid-back surfie vibe that I love. Even better, if you drive half an hour south from Coolangatta, little beach-side towns like Cabarita are just like the Gold Coast used to be 20 years ago.
Just been there 2 weeks back. Absolutely fabulous place, lovely beaches, thrilling theme parks and to top it, very sweet and courteous people
No but would love to go one day.
Yes last year I was there, I love it and have family living there.

I would move there too, but can't for a good few years yet!..........sad. :(

Still, I can look forward to it, and when I do go I will have a ball.
Sun - Surf - Beaches, what a wonderful country Australia is!!

Yes I have been there and I remember the last time I went there was with my aging mother who liked the pokies. One night i heard this strange noise at the door and it was my mother who could not open the door as she had a HUGE thing of money. She wanted to prove to me that she DID sometimes win at the pokies as I didnt believe her.

Yes! It's the perfect balance between Miami and Las Vegas!! I would do anything to move there and start a new life :) So beautiful, so peaceful and the beach is always ready for you!
Again, on my bucket list.

Yes several times ... so much to see and do there.
Several times, but usually go to the Sunshine Coast, cause it's closer. But we are headed to the Gold Coast next weekend.
Yes we live 45 mins away , it is a good get away.
I stay away from Surfers Paradise just too crowded.
Stayed at Sea World ~Nara Resort last week , great getaway.

Yes, inlaws are there and a friend lives right on the beach. a crazy, zany and beautiful place if you dont look at the concrete for too long. I think some parts need some serious social re engineering though and hopefully that comes with time.
Yeah, I love Broadbeach, I've been 4 times this year
No.
My Parents' owned a house at Palm Beach, so I had ALL my School holidays' there!

Loved the so many places to be able to go.....Tallebudgera Creek was my most loved swim place, & still is! Currumbin Rock Pools, Burleigh, Greenmount, Snapper Rocks Pools, the Tweed, Springbrook in the Hinterland, the swings at Kirra, Tugun & Palm Beach, the old picture theatres' at Currumbin, Surfers Paradise, & Burleigh, & its' 'Drive-In' Theatre, so too, 'Val & Bill's Grill, where THE best Hamburgers' were made, with PROPER Topside Mince, Sylvia Monk's Coffee Shop, & Art Gallery, at Miami, the various beautiful, & different Gift Shops at Surfers, the original Chevron Hotel, 'El Dorado' Motel, fresh Pineapple Juice Bar, & Chinese Restaurants', at Surfers.
The Cake Shop, Post Office, & Railway Station at Coolangatta.
The camping grounds at various locations'. The carnivals' at Xmas time at Burleigh, & Tweed Heads.
My Grandparents' were 'Showies', so I loved going to those, & the 'Ekka' in Brisbane, as well!

Oooooh! The memories' of being a kid in the '50's, & '60's!

It was a great place to be, & I loved it ALL!
