I cannot stand the sight of blood!
I was so bad that when one of my children fell UP the stairs and had blood coming out of his forehead I had to run next door for help as I went faint, and thought it better to get someone than to faint!
It was always a problem while I had 3 young children however, nowadays is not such a problem.
No, it does not bother me at all.Hang on,I tell a fib!!!! When I saw my son with a bleeding wound when he has small,I would be disturbed, but for how much pain he might be in,that's all. I have always been able to clean unexpected wounds.
I recently had a very nasty fall down 3 steps and literally broke my face in several places as it hit the tiled floor. They were White before I fell, but within seconds of the nose breaking, they were bright red!! I managed to get a towel and ice pack, which I held tightley to my face while I called an ambulance.By the time they arrived both my arms were red from the loss and the paramedic actually looked like SHE might faint!!! She thought I had cut an artery in my arm!! I could not help but laugh, which started it off all over again!! The mystery is how the tiles were back to white when I returned after 6 days in hospital!! I think my dogs learned some house-work tricks!!!!
Only if it's mine or one of my children's . If it's somebody else I can usually stay fairly detached and just help if they need me to. If it's mine I can't look. If it's my child's I have to look to help them but it makes me feel sick.
It just annoys me, if I cut my self while cooking & I start bleeding, I have to got & hunt down a bandaid The blood at the blood bank is also ok for me to look at, but I just turn away or shut my eyes when the needle is about to going my arm. I've donated 101 times now. Remember there was a show on channel 2, I think it was Doc Martin (?) He couldn't stand the sight of blood!
