under a bridge

For some people, being stuck in a position where there is no way out can be very stressful. And being under a concrete bridge could be that very place. Does being under a bridge scare you?

Yes it does. I start to get a little anxious. I have this feeling that the bridge is going to fall on me. Even looking at the picture makes me uneasy.
No, I don't have a problem being under a bridge.
I had never thought of the fact that it could fall!

No, unless the bridge is under construction
I am not scared being under the bridge.
No, but being in a tunnel scares the crap out of me.

In the car?...under a bridge!
It doesn't really scare me, but if it's a railway bridge and there's a train going overhead I don't like it. Trains are so noisy from underneath.
No, being under a bridge doesn't scare me. But being in a tunnel does.
No, cos' if your no. is not up nothing can happen to you.
What about the workers who work under the bridge !
We want to explore 'outer space' & we worry about something so silly.
being under a concrete bridge and being on a bridge both scare me. I wonder when the last time it was inspected by Engineers and how often they are supposed to be inspected. I saw the devastation just after an earthquake in San Francisco how the overpasses were buckled and broken.
Not as much as being underground in a cave.
Courteous curiousity, why?

Oh, for heaven's sake! It's a bridge, will take all of one & half SECONDS', if that, to pass underneath in a car or bus!
If there's NO earthquake happening, you'd be quite safe! ALL bridges are regularly checked by Engineers'.

It's fascinating being on a boat or ferry going under a traffic bridge, listening to the 'kerplunk-kerplunk' noises of the cars' above, passing over the 'heat-stretchers'.
P.S. Being in a Tunnel doesn't worry me either. There's always light at the end of it!
Was on a boat, on the river, went under Railway Bridge, as train went across. Interesting sound to hear, as I travelled by train to/fro work for 40 years!

Most interesting experience was going under 'The Coathanger'. With the huge amount of traffic atop, the noise was deafening! Have done that 4 times, to/from Luna Park, by ferry from Circular Quay! Yay!

No, not really, I've never given it a second thought.
