I love cotton in almost all my clothes however it is getting harder and harder to buy.
For example, I wear an all cotton bra and there is only one place in Australia I can now buy them - queensland!

I have started buying that new synthetic material for some of my undies as this feel really nice.

Generally the cotton undies are quite ugly, but comfortable in summer!

My thermal underwear is no longer cotton either as I bought the warmest and it was some sort of synthetic.

So, all in all, I like cotton but as it is hard to get in many nice things, I wear a bit of both synthetic and cotton.

I have to admit, Finy, that I am beginning to fee the same way as you about my cotton bras . . . strangled :((

LOL, finy, we may be wearing the same cotton bras!! Hahahahaha. I try to have cotton as much as possible and I have not had synthetic knickers since a small window of time in the 70s when Kayser had some gorgeous silky ones. My friends and I are all finding it harder and harder to get cotton things. It's almost worth a trip to Walmart to stock up. My thermals are banlon too, finy. I did get a few cotton things at Best and Less recently.

Cotton underwear.
Synthetic Bra...because they are just about all made of the same thing, but I choose a very good brand.
no, jonaj, I buy pure cotton bras
by Finy
I do not like cotton bras, they have little movement for me... :)

As long as it is comfortable, I don't care.
My underwear is cotton and elastane, lace and satin. As long as it is comfortable and moves with my body, I am happy.
Cotton all the way.
#1 Groovy pic, Finy. #2 I prefer cotton but find it hard to find quality cotton underwear. I wear synthetic bras.

#3 Where has all the cotton gone?

Bond's cotton full brief.....Woolies or Big W.
Playtex 'xyh' bra......DJ's or Myer's.

Many years' of purchase, & will continue to do so.

Like the old Mortein advert., 'when you're on a good thing, stick to it'!
I wear natural fibres like cotton or silk next to my skin! Have done so ever since I can remember, I do like the cotton undies(as in knickers!) I am able to get at Best and Less as they are much cheaper than the lovely underwear outlets such as Figgers or Bras'n'Things where I would love to shop when I had a much larger budget to play with! Good silk underwear is simply a treat, but I have not spoilt myself with any for many, many years! As for bras I do love cotton but I need to really shop around for these. It is very sad that cotton underwear is getting so much harder to find, but I shall continue to go on the treasure hunt as it is so much better for the skin.
thank you Jules -Figgers is the one I bought my bras from recently and the only ones I could find in Australia! r they near you?
by Finy
Almost always pure cotton!
Anything that fits and is comfortable
Oh...this is secret business....but, the question did remind me of all the funny names I've heard for undies....witches britches, bombay bloomers, knickers...funny to give such a small item of clothing these names!
I've always worn cotton undies from Target from packs of 8's or 10's. I have them in all the colours of the rainbow plus b&w. My cotton bras are also from Target, but are not very comfortable! In winter I always wear black marino thermal long sleeve spencers, under my cotton large print dresses, with black marino thermal leggings. I've given up wearing bras under my dresses now, but it still looks like I'm wearing a bra! I also buy a daughter in Melbourne, 5 or 6 black marino thermal spencers a year, beacuse hers were always getting holes in them,

I have to confess I like silk and lace undies. Have quite a big collection of all the colours imaginable. I prefer sets and my favourite set is bright red lace bra with red lace panties - gorgeous! My late husband appreciated them too!!
I absolutely have to have cotton pants in summer. Can't utilise cotton bra because I need elasticity - well I think every woman does unless you want to wear the girls very low slung !
I like a little elasticity in the pants as well but the most important thing is cotton. Like my pants white as well.
In clothing I love linen.
In Australia I think cotton is the way to go, if you can afford it. If you can't afford it, you just have to get used to washing your undies a whole lot.
I prefer cotton underwear, it is a breathable material, and it's better as Iused to get thrush quite a bit, so it is a better material for me,just like I couldn't wear stockings for the same reason.
