I realised that I hadn't bought lipstick in 12 years when I had to go to a wedding. I had to borrow my teenage daughter's lip pie.
Makeup just isn't my thing. I don't like the chemicals, the footprint it leaves on out earth, the fact that they are deceptive about animal testing, or the fact that makeup is sold as a product to improve you, as opposed to simply altering your appearance.
No not every day, at home no, if I go out during the day I wear some, if I go out at night I wear more...do think a light make up enhances anyone but you have to be careful as you get older as it can look like a mask...
Even when I was younger I only wore the minimum in make-up! For many years now I have not worn any at all.My skin has always been quite sensitive to make up ingredients, and as it has always tended to look far better without any,I simply have not bothered with the expense and the time!!
I've never been a big fan of wearing makeup. I used to wear it to work a fair bit when I was younger or when I was going out. I do own a tinted moisturizer that I wore for my daughter's christening (2 years ago) - I didn't wear it to my son's christening because I was too busy getting 2 children ready to have any time to put make up on!! I'm pretty sure there's a lipstick in my handbag that I might wear if I'm going out or have a job interview or something, but makeup's just not my thing.
