No,I live where it is not that cold, lucky me!!!! When I was in Melbourne I used to have lovely hand knitted beanie type hat/scarves which I made from fleece I had spun and dyed myself! They were so cuddly warm at 5 in the morning when it was so cold and foggy that I could not see more than a few feet in front of me!! But up here in Nth Qld,I have no need for these lovely items.
A beanie or a hoodie, especially when out walking on cold days, but never a hat. I remember wearing beanies to bed when frozen (before central heating) when we were growing up. Given you loose a large percentage of your body heat through your head and that beanies are in some cases a fashion accessory, they are a great option, and there are some fabrics and styles that really reduce the whole hat hair thing mentioned here. Found some old sheepskin beanies recently when unpacking. they have become very popular in these 5 degree mornings
Depends on occasion.
At home, beanie.
Out, beret, especially at night.
Out on a hot, sunny day, beige Akubra, but that's dépendent on where I'm going!
Otherwise, white kind of floppy hat.
Got to keep head warm!
