It's one of the few rooms I do vacuum because it has tiles. Most of the house has lino, and the Dyson is powerful enough that it will lift the lino at the edges if I'm not careful so I use a Norwex broom instead and dustpan and brush around the edges. The bathroom and toilet I vacuum to get up the dust and hairs, then mop to kill germs and get off anything like footprints. One is not a substitute for the other.
All of our house is vaccuumed, not just the carpeted bedrooms. Every room is vacuumed. I find that the vacuum cleaner is far more efficient at picking up dirt, dust and hair than any broom. The suction really lifts up the lint, hair and dirt. Afterwards, it is mopped.
Yes absolutely. I grew up in a house in the UK with commonly carpeted bathroom, now I take great pleasure in vacuuming up my masses of banshee hair which seems to come out in vast quantities and I also have two furball felines who love to roam the apartment when not snoozing.
