Since becoming a born again eater. . . . hahahahahahahaha! . . . I have given up such things. However, I do like sauce on the odd thing so I get tinned tomatoes, whizz them up with the hand blender and add some spices and a dot of artificial sweetener (bleargh) and use that instead. If it is not used in a couple of days, I heat it and add cream . . . . and pretend it's soup. LOL.
No. I don't use it at all. The only things I ever have tomato sauce on is a hot dog, and I hardly ever have those. It is still there in the cupboard, as other family members use it. It seems to go, as it ends up on the shopping list now and again.
I have a bottle in the fridge, but I never use it. My husband had it on something the other night though. My father used to have it on cheese sandwiches before 1977. (He died in '77, but the tomato sauce didn't kill him.)
