Do you use an electric toothbrush?

How long do you brush for, or do you use the timer built in to the toothbrush?

I have used an electric toothbrush now for years.
Since upgrading from my original few, I have the model with the timer built in (I think they all have this now?).

So I do not have to time as the toothbrush tells me when to stop and in fact this one buzzes after 30 seconds, telling you to move on to the back or bottom teeth.

\Soon they will invent one that you put on your teeth and brushes evenly without holding??

I love electric toothbrushes and even in the early days of availability, they were a super way to encourage children to brush morning and night!!!
I don't know how long I brush for, just till the teeth feel lovely with my tongue!
I have never used an electronic toothbrush.

I used to have an electric toothbrush many years ago but I had to stop using it as it kept catching the side of my mouth and it was very painful. I'm probably weird.

I just use a normal toothbrush. I have no idea how long I spend brushing my teeth.

I use a manual toothbrush - that's what they're called, right? I feel like I'm not doing anything when I've got an electric one in my hand. In any case, brush time depends on how much time I have. Sometimes I spend more time on them than at other times.

yes
2 minutes
Nope!
Too frightened it might zap a filling, & I'd end up like 'Jaws' in the James Bond movie!
Aaaarrrrgggghhhh!
No. I don't but my husband does. He says that they are great for getting in to all those books and crannies. He probably doesn't need to brush as long. He says that after he brushes, his teeth feel lovely and smooth as if he has just been to the dentist. I have never noticed how long it takes him to brush, but it wouldn't be as long, since it is motorised, and can clean quicker.
That should be ' nooks and crannies '.

I use an electric toothbrush on my dentist's recommendation as it certainly does clean better. I try to count how long it takes but it really depends on what toothpaste I use as normal toothpaste burns my mouth.
No
No I never have used an electric toothbrush. I clean my teeth for 2 minutes, using a 3 minute egg timer! I change my toothbrush every 2nd month.
(Not that, that was the question!)
