Yes, I would probably use it at least every second day.
I do not generally cook a meal in it however I heat things up in it - i.e. leftovers.
My microwave is a convection/microwave and I can cook half and half as well which is great.
It also does not go round like most others, and is built in above the same brand larger oven which I rarely use.
I use the microwave on convection also very often as it is much smaller than my main oven which is still in pristine condition having not been used much!
I also have pyrolitic cleaning on the microwave which is fantastic - just press a button and it cleans itself to sparkling!
I used it yesterday and I have not used it today . . . . so I would say semi-regularly. It is like Finy's - convection, so I could cook things if I wished. Yesterday I cooked frozen Hoki in 8 minutes that would have taken 25 minutes in the big oven. I used the special crisping tray.
Yes. We use it regularly. Sometimes we use it to defrost meat. We can get the meat out first thing in the morning and by 6pm it is still frozen solid. A lot of the time I use it to heat up my heat pack for my back and that is the main thing I would use it for. I could use it to heat up my hot pack several times a day if my back is particularly bad.
Mine is in use a few times a day if only to bring drinks and desserts to room temperature - defrosting and heating up soups and leftovers is quick and easy and hopefully energy efficient.... my housemate coos a few meals in it like casserole in sauces....
I am wary of microwaves and use mine occasionally to heat something- maybe once a week and usually a full cup of tea I have forgotten. As mine is a convention oven as well I tend to use that feature to cook. About once a month I roast a potato using a combination of microwave and convection cooking .i use it to grill cheese.
We have a steam oven which I use to reheat most things we reheat.it is fantastic for Indian food. We purposely buy enough for two meals because of this. The good thing about the steam oven is that the length of cooking time does not change when you have more in it as it does for a microwave. It will freshen up Naan bread like just cooked.
I heat my rice flakes, (that I cook like porridge on the stove,) then I heat them up every morning. I also heat the milk for my coffee, defrost meat, heat up our afternoon teas, & cook the vegetables in it for dinner. Very useful. The 1 thing I dislike about it though, is the turntable!
