I have a mincer, but I prefer to dice garlic because I hate washing the mincer and having to pick out the leftover garlic.

Haha!! I hear you, sister!!!

1st I put into a jar, and shake very hard and it will peel ALL the skin off the Garlic :)

Then we use a Garlic Mincer......too easy!
What a great idea. I will totally give this a crack!

I don't have a garlic mincer, but it would be great to have one as I can't chop very finely. I haven't bought one though because I only use garlic on the odd occasion, so it does not seem worth it.
I have this - http://www.mixdiscount.com/en/miscellaneous/122-silicone-garlic-peeler.html
- it cost me $2 at Aldi. I use this and then slice the garlic finely or squoosh it flat depending on the recipe.

I would like to give the silicon tube a go. Does it really work?
by Vee
Yes! Absolutely. You can do it on the bench or between your hands. The latter is not so good for me as it hurts more than the other way for the poor old arthritis.

I buy garlic already minced out of a jar. Call me Lazy !!!
I prefer to mince my garlic but because I don't use it that often, it's cheaper to buy a jar of already minced garlicand keep it in the fridge.
Don't use garlic at all.
I seem to be allergic to garlic so use little -i do both -chop -if there is only a small amount or squeeze if there is more. Yes, I also hate washing that mincer Vee!

I know, Finy, It's such a chore. With all the gadgets on the market, one would think they could come up with something that doesn't require so much work! LOL.
by Vee
And what do you mean, you seem to be allergic to it? Do you get a rash or something?
by Vee
I have a mini chopper. I usually put ginger and garlic cloves in in together and just run the chopper. Chops it really fine ! I plan to buy a mortar pestle soon though - that releases flavors like nothing else.
I seem to be allergic to garlic but use a crusher though if it is only one small one, I will often just chop it finely.
