Do you think the rusty old cars you often see abandoned in old farm paddocks or in the outback are picturesque?

Do you stop to take photos of them?

I can't help it, I'm just drawn to them. I have to photograph them. In some way they seem artistic to me.
I think of abandoned cars as an extra-large form of littering. The cars are simply garbage left behind by someone who couldn't properly dispose of them. I love seeing an antique car restored to its former glory, but leaving a vehicle to rust and fall apart in a field somewhere, that's just useless to me.
It's common in the Australian Outback to see cars simply abandonned by the roadside where they stopped. Way too expensive to dispose of them I guess.
We also often see wrecks from the fifties and sixties sitting in the woods or in abandoned farmer's fields.
I'm a fan they look wonderful when I see them.
I love anything that is rusty!
I've never stopped to take a picture of a rundown car, because none of the rundown cars I've ever seen seem worth it. Cars like the one in the above photograph are pretty cool looking though.

It depends on the skill of the photographer. The one you have up is a good example.

I think they can be picturesque. I have taken photos of some. The contrast of the rusty metal and the bush land or grass growing around an old rusty vehicle has an appeal to me. I particularly like it if a plant is growing up through the rusty vehicle.
I think they are depressing. I think they are an eyesore.
No, & no.
Don't interest me in the slightest!

Would prefer to photograph a beautiful gum tree, or kookaburra, or tumbling creek!
I think that the rusty old cars that can be seen in the outback are definitely picturesque...in the same way that old abandoned homesteads and other relics of the pioneering days are. Life is so harsh in the bush and there is an unusual beauty in the crumbling bits and pieces from the past that are littered in many of these places.
No, I think they are generally an eyesore.d
