.Yes, I do. Its my time to relax. I put it on for the evening news and A Current Affair, then see what's on after that. I usually come across amovie somewhere. If there's nothing on, I'll put on a DVD.
I doubt it. I sometimes put it on ABC 24 for the news if there is something big happening, e.g the Paris terrorist attacks recently, that way I can stand still if something new happens. As for constant watching, possibly 50 to 90 minutes unless a good movie has caught my eye.
I do if there is some really good UK drama series on tv. I don't tend to watch any of the commercial channels as they are so full of rubbish it's unbelievable. I only watch channels on Foxtel, mainly world news, drama, documentaries etc.
I probably watch about 2 hours tv a day, sometimes a bit more, sometimes a bit less, depending on what interesting programmes are on.
I read a lot and work on the computer so that takes up a bit of time too.
Because I am no longer 'employable', I can watch anywhere from 18 to 28 hours of TV in one stretch. It is much cheaper than going outside, using petrol, shopping etc. So I watch an extremely large amoiunt of TV!
Now that DVD rental shops have all but disappeared, instead of renting, I buy DVD's on-line and now have over 450 of the wretched things. I do borrow from the Library when possible, but their range is limited. I like the 'good old movies' with comedy, dance and fun - a chance to escape back into a much nicer world than we have now. I particularly enjoy British films.
