I would spend more on the computer, which is on all day, even if I go out.
However I can hear mail arriving, even when watching TV and I find the computer and HubGarden/Facebook, browsing, playing games etc mostly more interesting than watching television.

TV at the moment is shocking with hardly a good programme on.

So definitely the computer wins for me.

I use my computer primarily for my work ie liaising with clients and working on wedding ceremonies etc....apart from that I am not keen on the computer and get off it asap...so generally I would watch moreTV and DVD's although at present it is not a good time for TV

I used to spend more leisure time on the computer than watching TV, but I'm slowly using the computer less and the TV more.
I multi task! I do both at the same time. I'm currently watching a show about forensic science.
Definitely the computer. Although I love to watch TV programs that my partner has recorded for me, my computer is in a totally different section of the house and is my escape.
I spend a lot of time on my iPad at the weekends.

I often use my computer at the same time as watching (listening to!)TV. My leisure time is actually spent more by enjoying my antique books! I can drown in these incredible pages.A whole other world indeed!
That is a good question. I certainly spend more leisure time on my computer.
Nowadays it is the computer. I am finding television becoming increasing staid and less relevant.
As I write this while watching the TV. I'm witnessing one of the saddest days in Australia's history. I guess I'll be watching both. I have no idea of our future as a country when we have people like this that come to our shores, as a refugee. And they dont embrace our way of like. There own country' s been at war and upheavals for generations! They were born to fight! We now have it on our own door steps and we're allowing them to change our christian beliefs, and way of life. I cry for the innocence, lives lost , and future generation of our country. The saddest , saddest, in our history.
I spend more leisure time on my computer. I hardly ever watch television. We get poor reception but I haven't bothered to get someone in to check out the antenna because I wouldn't watch television much even if there was clear reception.
Watching my VHS tapes of fave tv shows! I 'time-shift' tv programmes by taping them & watching later. It's also ad-vantageous for ff'ing through those annoying adverts, of which there're TOO many, in batches of 10-12 ie 5-6 minutes' wasted!
I spend most of my day on my laptop, when I should be doing something more worth while, like writing my Christmas cards in March, instead of in Dec, because i take so long in writing out my cards, & hand making the collages.
I always try to balance my free time not only TV or PC, but also reading.
It seems to be at times with the TV programming - FEAST or FAMINE with channels having good programs (in competition) or total rubbish and very little worth watching.
