Actually I prefer soap nuts (nuts that produce a natural soap, you throw a calico bag full of them into the machine with the clothes).
And where do I get my hands on these nuts, Jennifer?

I buy mine on ebay.
Oh! Vee, you're being 'naughty' again! I was ROFL! Cheers!

Liquid every single time...it stops all the power grains showing up, on fabric...and no way can your skin come into contact with the grains that causes skin problems later.A lot of people do not know 'why' they have skin issues, well it's one point of the problem.
I prefer powder but I use liquid because I prefer and earth friendly brand, and the only way to buy in bulk is to get the liquid one.
I prefer liquid, myself. Seems to work better.
I prefer liquid, but I use powder because it's cheaper per wash...With 2 toddlers we do a LOT of washing so price is the determining factor.
I prefer liquid. Too many times I have had a dark wash ruined with powdered detergent not breaking up properly and caking onto clothes, only to need washing again.
Definitely liquid because I don't have to worry about dissolving it.
I haven't actually used a liquid one, so I have to say powder.

I find that powered laundry detergent lasts longer. So on this ground I rather powdered over liquid.
I find that the liquid does not do such a good job with cleaning the clothes. Moreover, liquid detergent is way too expensive.

Powder, but always have a bottle of liquid, as a backup!
I prefer liquid and buy it from Aldi. Stopped buying those tiny packets of laundry powder years ago with the very high prices. Supposedly "concentrated" but I didn't agree.
