I actually prefer muesli with Cornflakes.

I find the muesli slightly sweet on its own so I always top a bit of muesli with more Cornflakes and I get the organic Cornflakes or one other brand that has not got so much sugar in it.

This combination is very nice together with a bowl of iced milk on top.

I have discovered a truly gorgeous muesli which comes close to what we used to create ourselves at home when my mother was still alive. I use a bit of Orange juicefresh of course!!!) instead of milk.It is made by Jordans which is part of the same company which makes Ryvita. They now are making a delicious Crunchy Granola 'Bursting with Berries' which I enjoy straight from the clip-seal bag!!!
what is the correct name -cannot find it on woolies online?
by Finy
I have only been able to find them in Coles! Pity as I shop at Woolies more coften than Coles as a rule.... The name is as I wrote it:
Jordan's Crunchy Granoler 'Bursting with Berries'. It is different and delicious,as it has almond slivers and pumpkin seeds as well as the fruit.

All of them at different times. Variety is the spice of life!
Cornflakes! They're so versatile - Straight from the box, in a bowl with milk, in cornflake cookies...chocolate cornflake cookies. Yum!
Oh! colmo, woolies' now stock 'Cornflake Biscuits', which come from SA. They're just sooooo fresh, & delicious! Great with a hot 'cuppa'! Cheers!

I'm loving the new Gluten Free WeetBix! They taste just like I remember the original.
Weetbix but the new one just out!
winning :)
I have it with apple juice...
Oh! jonaj, I haven't bought any Sanitorium brand product since 1980!

Hubby, a (ret'd) Food Scientist, says 'Vita Brits' & 'Porridge' (not together, necessarily!), are the best cereal to eat. Forget the rest!

That's right! :)

I prefer cornflakes.
I prefer Weetabix.
I do like muesli but have a weetbix just dunked in water every morning before my egg on toast or the like....just to consume some fibre for my constitution...

I like to mix weetbix with some rice bubbles

MOST cerials have no nutritional value at all and Im not fond of a lot of them either. Carmens Muesli and the organic ones are okay, the weetbix is okay, rice porridge is good.
I make porridge and add some muesli for interest.
do not eat cereal all that often, if I do it is cornflakes, do not eat weekbix anymore as I do not feel all that well after eating it. strange as years ago thats the one I ate. I always have an egg for breakfast have done all my life.

Rice Bubbles when on holiday.
Weeties on normal days, & sometimes Weetbix when on Special!
AND ... muesli makes good ANZAC biscuits :-)
I like cornflakes in the mornings
Home made muesli for me.

Rice Bubbles!
Don't like any others.
Exception is for Winter brekky, Uncle Toby's Oats, which is cooked slowly overnight with much milk, in small crock-pot. With thickened cream & maple syrup or brown sugar, total bliss!
My favourite breakfast cereal is porridge. I have been having it for years, even when it was unfashionable!
The best low GI food to get you through a a physically demanding day!
3 Wheetbix 7 days a week, with 1T of rolled oats on top. (Woolies' own brand won the rolled oats test, with Uncle Toby's coming in last,) if I'm not making pancakes for myself. My husband has cornflakes 7 days a week, if he's not having an egg on toast In winter, we'll have porridge on Sundays. Our youngest daughter has always bought her self a packet of Fruit Loops for her birthday, since leaving home. & always had them for her birthdays, while living at home, but I've got WAY off the question here, as usual!
