I think I like red cabbage the best and I like it raw in salads, however I also like it cooked.
I mostly eat it raw however as it is easier and I add apple, celery and the same as I would add to white cabbage.
I also like white cabbage and occasionally cook it with bacon which is yummy, howev er as the question was which colour and which one, my answer is RED and RAW
I LOVE any cabbage,and cannot choose between the two colours as I like them in different ways!!! My mum used to make THE most wonderful pickled red cabbage when I was a kid,and back then,red cabbage was not seen in the shops much at all.My little friends would ask if it was some sort of crunchy beetroot! Ha Ha Ha !!!! I always ate all of my vegies raw as a kid,but I also love white cabbage cooked 'stir fry' tender with a dob of butter and a bit of black pepper!!I think the main problem when a lot of people cook their cabbage its that they OVER cook it (and I do mean that they cook it to death!!!!)and that just RUINS its very delicious flavour as well as texture.
