I think I prefer blocks and not boxed as the lindt 70% that I have a PIECE of each night, is less sweet than boxed chocolates.
Some of the cheaper ones are sickly sweet and there are a few boxes that I like however having almost a problem with high sugar readings, I no longer eat the boxed ones anyway and if someone gives me chocolates, I usually will now give them away before I open them as if I open them, I will eat them!

So block dark, healthy chocolate for me.

I don't like chocolate. It must have been the overconsumption of hot chocolate as a child. When I try the boxed chocolate they are quite nice. The cheaper ones are so sweet that they need to be followed up with a glass of water.
As long as it is Lindt.
I could care less 'how' I get it!!!
That's the only chocolate I like.
jonaj, do you like dark, milk or white chocolate? (If Lindt make a white chocolate?)
by Miro
miro.........Not a great fan of dark, like it now & then...White is a no-no..Milk is my fav :)

I only eat Lindt chocolate. All other chocolate seems vastly inferior. I don't mind if it is a box of Lindt balls or a block of Lindt chocolate, as long as it is Lindt I'm happy !!!
amen and amen

I would prefer a bar of chocolate over a box of chocolates. I don't really like boxes of chocolate.

Neither - not a lover of chocolate.
I prefer blocks as then I can just get exactly what I like! Others have mentioned Lindt, and I also do love this brand, whether block or boxed.Sometimes I enjoy a block of White chocolate, and I am a fool for the Milky Bar with Cookies!! Oh what a childish delight this can be on the rare occasions that I get it!! It will last for a while because it is so sweet, and yes!! I do need to have a drink of water to help wash it down even the small portion which I have enjoyed!!! I Know!!!! What's the point?!!! Ha ha ha ha ha!!!!! But it is SOOOOO good while I am tasting it!!
I'm not fussed on chocolate at all but if I have to choose it would be boxed liqueur chocolates, the ones with the real spirits in them though.
I think I'd go for a block as I find the boxed fillings so sweet and I do love plain chocolate. However, I'm not supposed to have it so I look the other way when shopping. I wish I could be like dwatk and norma. *sigh*

Any chocolates I will eat. However the one in the picture look a bit stale, so will pass them on. Once I eat one there is no stopping, so am inclined not to eat them.
Seriously Finy ?????? Thats like asking me to pick a favourite child. I love all my chocolates equally.
LOL redph! I didnt have a problem with that one.

Hmmm first I thought a box of assorted Cadbury's chocolates and then I thought a bar of rum and raisin chocolate. Such a difficult question to answer. There are so many lovely types of chocolate out there. I really like dark chocolate too...My final answer is bars of chocolate.
Those chocolates in the pic are heat affected & are discolouring, going white. Then they don't taste very nice. BUT.... I prefer bar chocolate, preferably plain dark. The assorted ones are too sweet for my taste.
I'd prefer blocks of salted caramel in DARK chocolate by Lindt, when only the best will do..

amen! I hear you! :)

Just give me the whole block! I can eat a Cadbury block in a night so I guess it's a good thing I don't crave chocolate often.
