I do not use make up but as per last question I use Jurlique on my face and currently a brand I do not know the name of as a general moisturiser though this brand, although organic, is not particularly good and will possibly revert to Jurlique or another Perth brand that is excellent.
No. I am not fussed. I don't go in for all the claims about the expensive ones being necessarily better. At the moment I am using up all different ones that have been given to me, so they are not expensive brands. I have some Nutrimetics, Natio, and i think it is Clinique, but i also have ones from the supermarket as well. They all do the same job very well, so no preference from me
I Like Loreal.
I find that they have some very good face creams, and huge discount at Coles, if you buy them there. Anything less than those prices, I do not use....So about $40 to $50 for a face cream is good.
I was once told by a lady in a Department store some 35 years ago, if you use a cheap-brand....it's like putting a stick of 'butter', on your face.
So I took it to heart, and never use cheap brands, for my face.
At 64 I am lucky, to only have a few wrinkles, and that's fine by me.....I have used many middle of the road brands, and they are all ok.
Not able to spend big dollars, if I could would I ?
More than likely yes.
I have tried expensive brands in the past. Animal testing is something I consider. Lacura - the ALDI brand does not test on animals. After reading it performed very well in blind testing I decided to give it a try. I have sensitive skin and if I find something I like, I stick to it. I haven't tried their makeup range but shall probably give it a try as mine runs out.
I find that as I get older (and have less time...) I can't be bothered with makeup. The last time I went to put on make up was for the Melbourne Cup in 2016 and I found that all my make up had gone hard and icky. The last time before that that I wore any was my son's baptism in 2013.
I do use olay as a moisturiser, but often think I'd be better saving my money...
