I sure do as they use a nice heavy roller mower and the grass look so much nicer than when I did it myself.
I used to do it myself when on acreage and had a ride on mower, and that was fun, but in suburbia, it is relatively cheap to get it done.
I tried mowing once for about 5 minutes when I was 16 and decided then and there it was an experience there was no need to repeat. Apart from the flying grass making me itch for hours, who am I to prevent the Mowing people earning a living. I 'm happy to pay someone to mow. The people I have now are fabulous. They drive past and check to see if it really needs mowing which I really appreciate.
I am very lucky indeed! My neighbour across the road does mine for me when he has the mower out to do his own! When I was still well enough to work,I used to pay to have it done,as I have been unable to handle a mower since my teens when all my illness really set in. Pity,as I used to actually enjoy mowing! Plus it was a great way to earn extra pocket money back in the 70's when the dollar did not go far at all!!
No, I have a lawn the size of a postage stamp so it gets done most weeks with a push mower. which is quite fun and easy actually so no problem. My landlady has a gardener though who turns up once every three months and he 'does the edges'!!!
